About Fife Counselling Support Service.

Thank you for visiting our website.

We are a counselling service with counsellors who have trained in different backgrounds and who use different approaches and all offer a variety of support.  We are all trained through accredited training and we are members of Counselling and Psychotherapy in Scotland (COSCA) and the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and abide by their ethical guidelines and procedures. We each cover specific areas all over Fife and are continuously expanding our services.

We all work with compassion, non judgement, empathy and provide support and encouragement to all of our clients.

If you require any further information, please feel free to contact any of our counsellors and we will be happy to help.

Psychodynamic - focuses on the self awareness and understanding of unconscious processes in a person's current behaviour, with the influence of the past on present behaviours.

Systemic - looks at the family systems and history. We look at patterns that run through generations and learned behaviours.

Cognitive Behavioural Therapy - connects to the person's thoughts and emotions. Identifying the negative thoughts and using logic and techniques to focus on a more positive outlook.

Person Centred - uses the person's own conscious exploration of themselves rather than the analysis of the counsellor.

We are members of COSCA and BACP and follow their ethical guidelines.

We support LGBT communities and people who are disabled.
